Setting Permissions

Using the Permissions page you can set:

  • The users who can use TicketBook to view existing contracts and contract reports.
    • This is the overall permission for the app. It is also possible to limit visibility per contract, using the permissions tab in the Contract Definitions page.
  • The users who can create new contracts.


Jira Administrators always have both view and create permissions on contracts, even when view permission is limited by the contract definition. This ensures that if a user is locked out of a contract by a config mistake, the admin can always recover access.
