Summary
During its lifetime, an issue can visit a status more than once. When getting a Status Duration report, Time in Status by default reports the total time spent on that status. That means the report shows the total time spent on that status.
The Multi Visit Behavior option that is available as a report parameter allows you to report on individual status visits.
Options
For each issue...
Description | |
---|---|
Total | When selected, the report will use the Total duration of all visits to a status. This is the default option. |
First Visit | When selected, the report will use the duration of the First Visit to a status. |
Last Visit | When selected, the report will use the duration of the Last Visit to a status. |
Average | When selected, the report will use the Average duration of all the visits to a status. |
Please note that when an issue visits a status only once, all these options will yield the same result.
Using with Aggregation
The Multi Visit Behavior option can be used together with the TiS v4.25 - Aggregation option so it is possible to get reports like "Sum of First Visits", "Average of Last Visits", etc.
Showing Status Visit Counts
At this point, you might also want to see status visit counts along with status durations in your report. Please see the Visit Count switch under TiS v4.25 - View Format
Even when the Visit Count option is not enabled, the report value and the number of times visited will be shown as a tooltip when you hover over with your mouse pointer.
The Multi Visit Behavior selection and Visit Counts switch are available only for Status Duration reports.
