Keychain custom fields simply display names of delegate users based on the source they are configured. If there are no delegates, the fields will be shown empty.
Jira admins can bind the notifications in Notification Schemes to Keychain custom fields. In that case, Keychain fields will display the names of current delegate users and notification e-mails will be sent to those users as well.

- Define a Keychain custom field and configure the field to display the delegates you need.
- While configuring notifications, use the "User Custom Field Value" option and select the Keychain field.
