The Permissions page in Jira admin section allows you to define user permissions for configuring Keychain - Delegation for Jira.
Please note that these permissions ONLY control who can see and edit delegation configurations. The functions of Jira components (custom fields, workflow functions, JQL functions) will NOT be affected by these permission definitions.
There are 4 permissions as described below:
View Own Delegations
Users with this permission can see the delegation configurations where they are a delegator or delegate. This allows each user to see what delegations are defined for him/her.
View & Edit Own Delegations
Users with this permission can create or edit the delegation configurations where they are a delegator. This allows each user to define delegations for himself/herself, without going to delegation admins.
The users can only see delegation configurations where they are a delegate so cannot change other users' delegations.
This permission supersedes "View Own Delegations" permission so users that have this permission will be able to see his/her delegation configurations even if they don't have "View Own Delegations" permission.
View All Delegations
Users with this permission can see the delegation configurations for all users.
This permission supersedes "View Own Delegations" permission so users that have this permission will be able to see all delegation configurations even if they don't have "View Own Delegations" permission.
View & Edit All Delegations
This is the Delegation Admin permission. Users with this permission can see, create, and edit all delegation configurations for all users.
This permission supersedes all other permissions so users that have this permission will be able to see, create, and edit all delegation configurations even if they don't have any of the other permissions.
